Feasibility
and Campaign Readiness Studies
The governing
board of an African American cultural center in a major city
in the upper Midwest had decided that it was going to launch
a capital campaign for construction, programs, and an endowment.
The AFRAM Group was selected to help the center's board and
staff to set goals, to test a case for support, to identify
potential donors and their levels of expected support, and
to draft a development plan. All of these tasks were accomplished
and a full report, written and oral, was presented to the
board and staff and, at a second meeting, key members of funding
community and participants in the study received an abbreviated
report of findings and recommendations.
